Winter Vacation at Rosenhof

A delight for the entire family

Kleinwalsertal is surrounded on three sides by peaks of over two thousand meters. With a broad variety of indoor and outdoor activities, the region is an ideal winter vacation destination.

Skiing
Enjoy the best winter has to offer. Kleinwalsertal offers a number of top-notch resorts, such as Kanzelwand, Ifen, Walmendingerhorn and Kanzelwand-fellhorn, with a combined 113km of perfectly groomed downhill slopes. And, the Kleinwalsertal ski area is linked with the acclaimed Oberstdorf resort just across the border in Germany as well. Together, the two make up the largest cross-border resort Germany and Austria have to offer!

Snowboarding
The Snow Park on the Kanzlerwand tram is available free of charge to all snowboarders. The park encompasses an area 400 meters long and 50 meters wide. The “Boarder Park” undergoes regular transitions all season long, offering boarders an ever-changing spectacle of jumps and obstacles. Standard fare includes two rail lines and a brand new kicker line and there is a special training area with an easy line for beginning grinds. Located next to the Valley Station, the Crystal Ground Lounge is the place to find equipment and information about the park, including workshops. It also provides a majestic view of the Kleinwalsertal.

Cross Country
45 kilometers of groomed trails at an elevation where snow is a certainty.  The Steinbock trail starts just 100 meters from Rosenhof and there are another 73 kilometers of trails in the Oberstdorf area.
