Mountain Cheese Production – an alpine dairy
Alpine mountain cheese production is a local tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation throughout the centuries. You can visit one of the high mountain cabins or watch and see how Walser Mountain Cheese is made. Production takes place during the summer months, when the cattle herds are kept in the high alpine meadows.  A guide will take you through the entire process, starting in the nutrient-rich fields, through to milk production and the process of creating Kleinwalsertal mountain cheese. These alpine dairies guarantee the highest quality natural products and you can even purchase the end result!
