We bake delicious sunflower seed bread, whole grain bread and a wide assortment of other breads in our big stone oven, using pure spelt flour.

“The Wishing Table”

Much like the Grimm´s fairy tale, our kitchen staff performs their magic on a daily basis, providing an abundance and variety of delicious offerings both in our restaurant and the Sonnenstube:

  • An amazing way to start the day – an opulent breakfast with culinary delights, theme buffets, homemade breads and a wide assortment of cakes, juices, teas and coffees
  • Children’s breakfast buffet
  • Packed lunches or snacks for hiking
  • The Soup Pot – our name for an array of meals at our lunch buffet
  • Afternoon Buffet, with coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream, hearty snacks for skiers and fresh fruits

Rosenhof’s Wine Philosophy
Truly extraordinary wines are produced throughout the world and it would take multiple lifetimes to adequately taste, test and enjoy them all. A big part of travel and vacation is getting a feel for the lifestyles, cultures and customs of other countries or regions of the world. Our wine expert, Gerd Hugger and his daughter Suzanne (currently undergoing training at Austria’s wine academy) will be most happy to introduce you to some fine vintages from our region. 

The best way to learn about wines is to drink it! To choose the best from a wide selection takes a combination of knowledge, taste and enthusiasm!

Grander Water
It is the very source of all life: H2O. Water. For a long time this basic element has captivated poets, philosophers and scientists. But the simple chemical formula goes nowhere near describing the wonders of this element. We use the Grander Method to ‘vitalize’ our water. You’ll actually be able to taste the difference and you’ll notice an increased thirst. The Grander Method allows us to actually reduce the amount of detergents we use for cleaning and it reduces calcium deposits as well, allowing for better heat conduction.
